Subject:           2019 GT SA Lifesaving National Championships – The replacement of the Board Rescue with the Taplin Relay in the Masters Surf Championships and change to the Program

As a result of numerous requests received from Clubs and master’s Competitors, the Sport Committee has decided to replace the Board Rescue with the Taplin Relay. The Taplin Relay will be a 3-competitor event with a Swim/Board/Ski (draw for the order of the legs will be done at the Managers Meeting). It will be conducted under the following age groups: 110-129 years, 130-149 years, 150 – 169 years and 170 years and over with the total ages of all competitors determine the age group.
