Subject: Lifesaving SA 2019 Inter Provincial Championships: Event Details and Rules of Entry
1. The 2020 Lifesaving South Africa National Surf & Pool Inter Provincial back 2 back Championships, dates and venues listed below:
2020 LSA Pool Inter Provincial Championships hosted by LKZN
Date: Saturday, 2nd May 2020
Venue: Kings Park swimming pool, Durban
2020 LSA Surf Inter Provincial Championships hosted by LKZN
Date: Sunday, 3rd May 2020
Venue: Addington Beach Marine SLC, South beach Durban
Prize giving will be at Marine SLC after the last event.
2. Entries forms (Form A & B) must be submitted to headoffice@lifesaving.co.za by Monday, 1st April 2020 (will be distributed along with entry fees in January 2020)
3. Provinces may enter a maximum of 1 team per age category each i.e. 1 Senior ,1 Junior & 1 Nipper team
4. Each Team may not exceed a maximum 8 Male and 8 Female, and the same team (8 male, 8 Female) is required for pool and surf.
5. ENTRY CRITERIA
- Must have been residing in South Africa for a minimum of 3 months
- Must be a current member of a Club affiliated to Lifesaving South Africa and be in good standing with such Club
- Must be in possession of a JLA/LA as at 31st January 2020
- Must be in possession of a JLA/LA Retest where applicable
- Must have completed a minimum of 20 hours voluntary duty between the period 1st February 2019 to 31st January 2020 where applicable
- Nippers are required to be a minimum age of U13 for the season and must be in possession of a level 3 certification by 31st January 2020
6. Point Score: There will be no overall combining pool and surf aggregate.
