It has been brought to Lifesaving South Africa’s attention that a number of fraudulent retest forms have been submitted to potential employers.
Please be advised that as from September 2015 the request for retest validation by members was changed. Clubs are reminded that no retest forms may be distributed by the clubs as verification of awards.
Requests for verification needs to be made to the Club Secretary and validated by the Club Chairman and the Provincial Secretary. Lifesaving South Africa will gladly verify all requests submitted in writing through the correct channels.
Fraudulent activities will be reported to the authorities and the lifeguards implicated may face further action from their employers.
