We are deeply saddened by the passing of Mr Owen Kuyper, a treasured and long-standing member of Scottburgh Surf Lifesaving Club.
Owen had a long connection with Scottburgh, spanning almost 50 years. After retiring to the area, he joined the club and served as Vice-Chairman from 2021. He gave many years of his time to coaching and mentoring swimmers and lifesavers of all ages, from Nippers to Juniors to Seniors and Masters.
To honour his life, his family, friends and Scottburgh Surf Lifesaving club will hold a Paddle Out at Scottburgh Main Beach on Sunday, 6 September 2026.
