Dear Members of Lifesaving SA,

Lifesaving SA wishes to advise members of the introduction of a temporary club transfer mechanism specifically for athletes participating in the Lifesaving World Championships 2026.

This arrangement is being introduced as a once-off measure for the  Lifesaving World Championships 2026 in Gqeberha and will apply exclusively to this international competition. The temporary transfer will not affect an athlete’s primary club membership or permit participation for the temporary club in local, provincial or national competitions.

Members wishing to make use of this transfer are required to ensure that the attached Temporary Club Transfer Form is fully and duly completed, with all relevant information provided, and submitted as required prior to competing. The closing date for transfers will be the 31^st August 2026.

We kindly ask all clubs and athletes to take note of this temporary arrangement and ensure that the necessary documentation is completed timeously to facilitate the registration process for the Lifesaving World Championships 2026.
