Dear Members of Lifesaving SA,

Attached please find the current list of Club and Provincial Coaches.

Each Province is requested to review the list and submit details of any additional coaches who are to be registered for the 2026/2027 season. Please ensure the following documentation is sent to headoffice@lifesaving.co.za by Friday, 5^th June 2026.

To register a coach, please complete the following process:

Required Documentation for Coach Registration:

1. Completed Coaches Registration Form (as attached) – Please note: All fields marked with an asterisk (*) are mandatory as per SASCOC requirements. Incomplete forms will not be accepted.
2. Certified Copy of ID (not older than 3 months)
3. Curriculum Vitae (CV) – Must include relevant qualifications and certifications. This will also be used for the Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) process.
4. ID Photo – Head and shoulders photo with a white background. If submitted electronically, it must not exceed 1MB in size.
5. Criminal Record Clearance
6. LSA Affidavit confirming that your name does not appear on the Sexual Offences or Child Protection Registers.

Please note: Affidavits must be properly commissioned. Uncommission affidavits will not be accepted.

1. Safeguarding Awareness Training (SAT) certificate
2. WADA Certificates
3. Copy of Lifeguard Award Certificate
4. Verification Letter – From the Club or Province, confirming coaching status and experience)
